Catherine Groves confides some of her frustrations with getting this issue out in a timely manner. One obvious source of angst is our slow USPS, which, for a hardcopy periodical, is a daunting challenge. In addition, a couple of our usual columnists had trouble meeting deadlines — which made layout a matter of sheer guesswork. Then . . . our main printer went down. Suffice it to say, there was plenty of mud splashing around and, as Lao Tzu might suggest, Groves needed to keep her composure while waiting for the water to clear.
