As in Zeno's ancient philosophy and Star Trek's "Spectre of the Gun," it can be difficult to truly know whether what we see is reality or illusion. Robert M. Price draws from Advaita Vedanta Hinduism to point out that a baffling paradox can be a clue to "the illusory character of perceived 'reality.'" And as Price puts it, "The larger lesson here, I think, is that we must guard against premature closure of our understanding of the world and life. Maybe we don't have it all figured out."
